オーストラリア出身で2003,2004年のV8 Supercarチャンプ、現在はNASCAR Sprint Cupに出場しているMarcos Ambrose(#47 Toyota)は語る。

iRacingは素晴らしいシムで、NASCAR Sprint Cupの初年度にとても助けになったよ。物理的にレーシングにとても近いし、A.J. AllmendingerやBrad Keselowski、Dale Earnhardt Jrら、個々のトラックに向けた準備などのスキルのファインチューンにiRacing.comを使うプロドライバーも増えている。

そしてMarcos AmbroseによるスクールV8 Super SchoolのFord Falconはパートナーシップの一環でiRacing.comカラーになるのだそうで。

オーストラリアとニュージーランドのユーザーを増やすための値引きキャンペーンもあるようです。また、シドニーでもレースをホスティングするサーバが稼動することで日本にもレイテンシが低く抑えられるなどのメリットがありそうです。
